Behind-the-scenes of Point A to B series

The story behind the story

Every piece of art tells a story, but sometimes it’s the story behind the story that truly matters.

From prompt to process

Point A to B is a series I created to explore the unpredictable paths we all travel in life. It’s not just about where we start or end up, but about the moments, detours, and emotions that fill the space between.

The concept began simply: connect two points. But as I sketched and painted, that simplicity unfolded into something much richer. The lines between points became metaphors for life’s complexities; the straight routes, the chaotic scribbles, and the gentle curves that mark our personal journeys.

Sixteen paintings, one intentional journey

Creating sixteen original paintings for this series went from a prompt to an intentional process. I planned the rhythm, scale, and flow, making space both in my physical studio and my creative mindset to fully embrace the work.

Point A to B is an invitation, to pause, reflect, and consider your own journey. How do you move from one point to another? What do you carry with you?
