Did you spot the gal lounging on the staircase and reading? :)

This is Jardim Botânico do Porto (Porto Botanic Garden). I spent hours meandering around this garden, stopping for delish cakes at the cafe. At different times of the day, you'll see the sunlight turning the colour of this building into different shades. This building has witnessed remarkable transformations. Formerly held by the Christ Order, later by João Salabert, and finally, the Andresen family left an enduring legacy before passing it on to the State of Portugal in 1949. It's now under the Faculty of Sciences at Porto University.

Material and quality

The artwork comes without frame or mount. Lovingly hand drawn on Arches watercolour 100% cotton cold pressed paper, 300g/m2 (140 lb), with archival fine liner pen, acrylic gouache paint, and on some pieces, pencil. Lots of love and excellent quality materials went into each individual pieces in this collection.
