A cup a tea
a hand to hold
the morning sun shining through the curtains
a cool evening stroll
reading the best book
laughing at lame jokes
think of these things—
and your heart will never get old.
You can read the poem from two different circumstances in life. One is, everything is going well, and you are expressing that joy. Another is, life might be tough for you at the moment. It’s in those low moments that we need to fight for joy. Look out for the blessings in the daily ordinary things that we sometimes overlooked. Those are God's ways of telling us He's with us.
