Three things that I’m most grateful for today—13 Oct 2016

Jessica Smith Workout1. Resumed workout after a hiatus of two weeks.

Packed schedule and long day today. But, happy that my workout is kind, it’s a quick 15 minutes, easy walking workout (at home) that doesn’t need a giant motivation for me to jump back into my workout routine. 2. Fabulous hospitality by the Alpha Hub Kl peeps.

I was bowled over when I walked into the meeting room for a meeting with the National Director of Alpha Malaysia, Wini. I was greeted not only with cakes and coffee, but a lovely handwritten note as well. It was arranged by their Event Manager, Evelyn, whose gift is definitely in hospitality or making people feel welcomed! The culture of Alpha is just awesome!

3. The conversation that went beyond work.

At the meeting, we had a chance to talk about parenting and such. It made me feel that I’m normal, haha! What touches me was when Wini reached out and offer to spend some time together with me & my daugther, to hang out and learn some cool DIY crafts from her. I’ve been so blessed with generous people in my life. It motivates me to do likewise for others.
