Too loving this day off—having the unhurried space of reading, learning, thinking; dreaming, and planning.
I’m thankful that I live an integrated life where I have no qualms to enjoy thinking about work-related stuff on a day off, and no guilt about not doing anything either.
Rather than dividing different areas of your life—integrate.
It’s much easier than living up to the ideals of having a balanced lifestyle, where different areas of life may be rigidly compartmentalised.
Less stress. More rest. 🙂
Whoa! After writing this post, I found out that the term ‘integrated life’ is a legit term for making work, family, faith, and the activities that you enjoy work together. Read up about it here and here.
