What he opens, no one can shut and what he shuts no one can open’ (Revelation 3:7).
*Lord, I commit to you the plans for the year ahead … Lord, I pray that if any of our plans are not right that you would shut the door on them. For those plans that are of you, Lord, thank you that no one can shut the door against them.
Lord, most of all, help us to stay faithful in our intimate relationship with you as our friend, our king, our husband and our maker.

Reading this “Lord, I pray that if any of our plans are not right that you would shut the door on them. ”- I took a deep breathe, for it needs one to let go of own control and own plans. For we want many things, and we want things to go as planned, and good things too.
What if some plans of Coconect are shut by God and those are the plans that I’ve felt strongly for and worked towards it?!!
Hence the deep breathe.
For it asked me to let go and trust. Have Faith not in my own earthly plans but in His. Faith means knowing that it will be alright even if there is no visible evidence at that point of time. And that, requires courage- this trust and faith thing.
It’s a scary thing to take the leap.
Now I understand what the leap of faith means!
But I supposed in it’s own way, it’s also liberating. For if one can be free of clutching to earthly wishes and to plans, and know that the path he is walking on is blessed in many ways by God, wouldn’t that be the ultimate freedom?
