Whether we realise it or not, we are looking for things bigger than ourselves. And that can only be found in God.
Without that need being fulfilled, we look everywhere else to fill that gap, church included.
That gap exists even when we believe in God, and have Christ in our life.
Because that gap is maintained by what we called, self.
And only when that self is ripped out from the gap, will God have the space to come in and completely fill the gap to the overflow.
What are we doing as the church, in all that we do—point everyone back to God? So that in each of our lives, we’ll remember to keep that sacred space only for God—daily. Not once in awhile, not when we are in trouble, not regularly, but daily.
