Of books & cookies Sunday

As I looked down on my right, I realized it has been many moons since my Sunday is like this.

Chomping down Chinese New Year cookies, piles of books (yes, one can get greedy with figuring out which book to read).
Fluffy bed.

Bliss! Bliss! Bliss!

Spamming is not marketing, geddit?

Fed up with unscrupulous people using Whatsapp to spam.

What an ineffective way for customer acquisition:

1. Bought & sold data- No relationship.
2. Send unsolicited messages- No invitation, no permission.
3. Unrelated message- No targeting.

To top it off, it was sent on Sunday early morning, hardly the time when people are receptive to this invasion of privacy.

These people may be ignorant that spam is wrong in all ways.
Or they thought its the easiest & cheapest way to market.

Marketing is more effective with permission, and definitely better when there is a relationship later on.

Business owners, however tempting it may be, don’t spam. It just reflects badly on your business.

Thank you letter to my Father

Today’s bible reading plan is on Hebrews 12:1-11.

let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

As I did my reflection on this scripture, these just pours out, lo & behold, it’s a letter to my heavenly Father!

*typo error: dona… (duh!) Correct spelling: Done. But me thinks its hilarious! Can it be a new phrase? “What have you dona to me?!!”
